Bio:
In 2012, Dan Johnson and his brother, Dr. Ben Johnson, began their first dental practice. After frustrations and hurdles, the brothers formulated systems and strategies  that grew their start-up with 4 dental ops into a multi-million dollar practice with 3 locations. They turned collections of $60k a month into $300k a month in just four short years. Under Dan’s coaching in conjunction with the stool principle, Acre Wood Dental increased their new patients per month from 20 to 300. As an expert in his field, Dan’s mission is to give dentists the tools to invigorate their practice and take control of their future.

Dan’s proven principles will equip you and your staff with the instruments to advance beyond a current state, grasp opportunities, and establish YOUR successful practice. Start the journey to monetize your practice today!

Three Legged Stool Theory:
Successful practices capitalize on strategic planning in accordance with the core elements of  the Three Legged Stool. To achieve balance and coordination in your practice you need three essential elements: human capital, space and equipment, and marketing. The biggest hindrance for offices is the disparity between their extravagant goals and current resources. Rejuvenate yourself, your staff, and your practice while monetizing your passions!

Bio:
After graduating from Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Ben Johnson purchased Acre Wood Dental’s first location in 2012. With the expert marketing strategies from his brother, Dan Johnson, Dr. Ben Johnson expanded his one office practice into a three office practice earning over $3.6 million a year in collections. Through the process, Dr. Ben Johnson has crafted proven and manageable techniques to recreate his multi-practice model. The three elements of his model include overseeing growth, tracking net worth, and managing stress. Dr. Johnson’s mission is to help budding dentists, tried-and-true practitioners, office managers, and dental stakeholders achieve the success he has cultivated through his multi-practice model. He strives to help dentists, just like him, attain the financial freedom and success of owning multiple dental practices.

Growth, Skills & Strategy

Bio:
After working as an associate for a few years following graduation, Dr. Chad Latino decided to start his own practice from scratch. Dr. Chad Latino began working 12 hours a day and 4.5 days per week with virtually no vacation time. After soon becoming overworked, underpaid, and burned out he began to realize that the situation did not align with the life he dreamt about in dental school. Over the next 10 years, he gathered knowledge from numerous consultants, books,  and marketers. By compiling a well-rounded team in conjunction with implementing efficient, strategic systems Chad constructed the Key Components to run a successful and profitable dental practice. Today, he is thriving in a solo million dollar practice while only seeing patients 132 days per year. Now, that is something they don’t teach in dental school! Don’t spend 10 years learning how to do this! Dr. Latino will teach you the essentials that can give your practice amazing results in a short amount of time.

Key Components of What Every Office Needs:
Practice success radiates from the core staff and procedures to patients and reputation.  Without proper procedures, personnel, and poinpointed targets, external marketing efforts will not generate high returns. To establish and maintain higher collections and consistent new patients, arrange your staff and resources to capitalize on internal marketing strengths. Whether you own a multi-office practice or a singular practice, understanding the key components to run internal operations is paramount to external marketing success.

Bio:
Jessica Martin, Ed.S, is a dental consultant, dental practice co-owner, and licensed school psychologist who with her husband, Dr. Tony Martin, DDS, run a successful dental practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  When the couple took over the practice in 2010, they had trouble standing out in a crowded market and needed to find a way to attract more patients to their office.

After 17 years of studying and working in psychology, Jessica came to the realization that many people avoided the dentist and even had dental anxiety due to sensitivities to sensory stimulation. This led Dr. Martin and Jessica to implement dental spa techniques to their practice in 2014. The results have been stunning for patients and the business alike. Patient referrals quickly climbed, and appointment cancellations dropped drastically. In three years time, monthly new patient numbers did not double, did not triple, but actually quadrupled, and their patient retention is better than ever.

Through the development of consistent processes and team leadership and training, Jessica has led the practice to fully realize the tremendous benefit of techniques that calm the sensory system and make for an exceptional dental experience.  Subsequently, her consulting practice, Martin Management LLC, was launched to share this valuable transformation with other dental offices so they, too, can transform their business as well as drastically improve their patients’ dental experience – taking the dread out of dentistry.

Retention Through Relationships
Retention is THE single most important factor for growth!  Dental practices that are having trouble retaining patients may need to shift their thinking when it comes to the patient experience. Reducing dental fear or anxiety by honing in on how their patients feel while at the dentist will help offices focus on building relationships with their patients. Being sensitive to the sensory stimuli that encompass every dental appointment is a largely unexplored concept.  Attendees will learn how to create value, loyalty, and a patient experience they can’t obtain anywhere else through systems for consistently creating  exceptional dental visits.

Tiger’s journey in America began when he emigrated from his home country of Russia to the United States in 2005. At the start, with zero English, Tiger began learning the language while driving to work and singing along to Frank Sinatra. With a strong drive to succeed, he started in his early years working multiple jobs during the day and attending night classes at the local community college. A few years later in 2007, at the age of 22, Tiger founded Siegel Construction while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Over the years, Siegel became one of the premier dental design-build firms in Chicago with the aspiration to continue growing throughout the Midwest.

In early 2015, Tiger successfully sold Siegel Construction and today the company continues to thrive and achieve big goals. An entrepreneur at heart, Tiger is currently developing another startup called ZenSupplies that helps dentist across the country manage their supplies inventory more effectively and under 5% overhead.

Tiger takes building ZenSupplies very personally and makes it his high priority to visit clients. Currently he has over 45,000 miles under the belt and visited more 39 States, helping more than 400 dental practices across the country implement new technology.
